I was thinking exactly the same thing today. Maybe at NSL, where there's a little more real estate...
 
My zipper. Only about 1/2" long; I'm torn (sorry) between repairing it and just cutting down the tube. But the coupler is 4", so I could afford to do either.

The retainers performed really well. None are bent, and the nylon spacers didn't appear to take any heat damage.

Just watched the video...sounds a little breezy.
Textbook flight, with, I suppose, the obligatory tree arrival. Makes it "official".
