3D Printing Simplify3D ver 5: upgrade or no?

I just bought it, and I doing my first print. It appears to be a significant upgrade.
 
the '3D infill patterns' looks pretty cool, as does the optimized layer heights!

Adaptive / customized supports too!
 
The menus are not intuitive to me, so it is getting some time to get use to it.
 
I've been using S3D for a few years and recently upgraded to the new version. I've had no issues with it and it is my preferred slicer. I've tried using some of the others (Cura, Prusa, etc) but since I learned on S3D that is what I am comfortable using. For that reason I had no issues with the upgrade cost.
