Could someone recommend a good reference of the world's commercial and military rockets? I am already familiar with Bill Gunston's Rockets and Missiles, and the Jane's books on the same. Are there any other reference works that ideally has enough info to do a scaled version?

Rockets of the World is out of print right now and you’ll be lucky to get a copy for less than $100. Peter Alway has a number of other works that are still in publication. You can get them at ARA Press here:

Check the product description for a list of what rockets each book contains.

You can also try NARTS, the NAR Technical Services. They sell some of Peter‘s books and also have scale data of rockets on USB.

If you have a particular rocket in mind, there are also people here who can provide very detailed information.
