There not much for Model or Low Power rocketry from a federal perspective, what you will find is waay more rules from your civic, local government. Some guidelines to live by are here:

https://canadianrocketry.org/en/regulations/model-rocketry

Best thing to do is find out what bylaws are within your community, most have something about fireworks, which rocketry is not but they classify it there for ease. Also best to get permission from the landowner(s), be neighborly.

Thank you! I have been asking our city bylaws and basically a rocket can be launched not on city property or parks ect. Your second tip about asking permission will definitely help! Thanks

That is not uncommon for restrictions. City of Calgary has the same type of rule but the Calgary club has worked out an authorized usage on one of the city soccer fields for some regular model launches. It took a while and they have to rent the space as would other groups but they have made it very successful.
