On Board Boostervision Video

Saturday put up a 5' rocket with an Acme fin can, H128 white lightning reload, with a Boostervision wireless camera on board.

Aiptek camcorder was the video capture device. With the overcast sky, compression artifacts were more noticable than some other launches.

Cool video. What was the weight, body tube dia. and how high did it go?

Body tube diameter was 2.2" but the acme fin can is probably close to 2.4" in diameter. Weight, loaded with motor and camera is right at 3 lb. Rocksim says 1500 feet.

I was using the patch antenna to receive the video feed.
