Before the extremly painful black out of TRF I started
a thread called oh no Ho Jo. Well During the black out
I rebuilt the Ho Jo and here are some before pictures
and after pictures. Also in need of new decals for the rebuild
and not sure where to get them, I tried to remove my old
ones from crushed body tube. To my suprise and happiness
they came off the old tube and reatached to rebuilt
HO JO very well.

Great repair job. The launch mount is nice. How did you get the decals off?

Thank you. If you notice I also made it a 2 engine cluster
for D's Or E's. The boat tail with fins and nose cone were not
damaged in the crash so everything on them stayed intact.
I did have to cut body tube off of boat tail and remove
old motor mount. Anyway I needed to remove 3 U.S. Army
decals, 4 small black squares and one medium size
informational decal. Very slowly I was able to lift one
corner using an exacto #11 blade and slowly pull them off
the old tube and place them on new tube right away.

So, they were vinyl stickers or the peel'n'stick type decals? Either way the finished repair work looks great! :D I was able to peel the vinyl decals off my 3" Thor without deforming them, but they lost all sticky to them..Which was just as well, as I wanted to make new ones anyway!

Very nice repair job - that's one thing I'm miserable at. I'm pretty good at getting them to look good when building, but I can't get decent repair results in most cases. Should fly great on the pair of 24s too.

I had one drag on the rod and make a crash landing,The first repair I made was moving the launch lug from the nose cone. Since than I've had several good flights on it.

They are peel and stick. Lucky for me when I removed them from
the smashed body tube they had plenty of sticky left when
I reapplied them to the rebuild.
