Well wouldn't you know it, I got my EZE today and the fins are the same too small size. I emailed LOC about it and hopefully the send the right fins out.

Recent update! The rocket has been recovered in surprisingly good shape.
I'm not sure if that would work on this one, there's PML two part foam between the motor mount and the body tube.I'm sure they will supply the correct fins. You definitely got the first run of *way too small* fins there!
If it were me, I bet you could knock the current fins off. Sounds silly, but a whack or two with a hammer at a right angle to the fin should do it. Been there done that. Idea is to crack the epoxy enough to allow the fin to be removed. Do it right, and you'll only have to repaint the area beneath the "D" lettering.

That was a nice flight. The G64's a 29 Hobby line reload, correct? I'm building an IQSY Tomahawk. I may try to use the coupler as an AV bay. I think there's room for an Eggtimer Quark and a 2c LiPo. These park flyers are a good size for smallish fields. I recently picked up a 29/40-120 case and have used it a couple of times. There's a nice selection of load for it. I like the F53-10FJ.I've built her, but not flown it yet.
I did have the chance to fly the Park Flyer Sandhawk over the Thanksgiving holiday and it flew *fantastically* on a G64-10.

That's what I was leaning towards. Maybe shoot some printer on the fins to make it look extra ghetto...Make it earn a flight
