Oh no!
My first flight early Thursday found the top of the tallest tree south of the white pads. Body even hung up in the top. Bill's 60' pole (oof, that sounds impressive) was just enough to grab it.
A pole is almost as crucial as a tracker at Bong lolOh no!

Fortunately not. Mine managed to land right in the middle of the access road heading north from the far pads. Besides a little road rash, the Zeph will fly again!!This wasn't the rocket in your last pic was it?
Nice TWA had a boat for recoveryYes, there were boat recoveries.
Two that I'm aware of ended up in the lake to the north of the LDRS range... Scott and Tim. I parked my Magnum in the waterfowl lake ESE of the range yesterday and used Bob's boat for recovery...many thanks to Charlie, Dad, and mini me for help in lugging the boat around!Nice TWA had a boat for recovery
Ahh yes that’s what’s known as a “Brunsting” in Three Oaks. Quite annoying.
A few of the Jayhawk for those not on Facebook.
