We'll be there, we'll have a project. More than one motor, more than an O motor in aggregate, and bits will fall off! Probably even intentionally.... :)

More details later!

Krazy Kevin...

He's Insane!!!

No new teasers or hints on this project?? Come on man!

Okay, okay...

It'll have fins.

Oh, and a motor we've never flown before.

Something old, something new, something borrowed.....but not a darned thing blue!

 You will turn blue when you hold your breath from the time the button is pushed until the laundry comes out! :eyepop:

That'll come later when you tell everybody it done did "blew" up real good. ;)

No, no, no, if it goes awry, we jump around, high-five and proudly proclaim, "It worked just like we planned it!"

In reality, we're batting 50% on large projects being what we consider a success. We think that's way too low, and want to see it at 90%, at the absolute lowest.

Only way not to fail is to not try. But that's no fun!

Agreed!

At the same time, especially with very large rockets, it's important to learn not only from your failures, but from your successes. Do a post-mortem and figure out what worked by luck, and what worked by design. Keep the things that worked by design and worked well, and fix everything else.

But, at the end of the day, have fun, don't hurt anyone, and don't destroy the range.

Still no Pic's??? All we have to go in is that it has an aggregate, and bits...

The commrade acknowlegement of your succeeding failure is epic..
This will be good.

in the famouse words of Neil Mcgilvery

this is going to be cool or really cool:rofl::pop::pop::pop:

By the way Mark II thats a bad pic of Kevin WAY to much hair ! :bangpan:

We have our build scheduled. Will post pictures in June, after we get it built.

What, no Rouse Tech hardware?

Actually, I was referring to the blue 6" case we've used previously. Though we won't be using any Rouse-Tech hardware, either -- not commonly used for Research motors.

I once had a professor who said that you should only change at max three things in a project like this when going from test to test. This way if something fails on the next test or launch or whatever then you can narrow it down real easy. If the project was a complete disaster then, well, that's the exception.

You're going to taunt us with a gigantic project without pictures or any details UNTIL JUNE?!

You're mean one Mr. Troj.
