Hi, all.
I'm completely new to model rockets. I have an Estes Amazon and Crossfire, and a JollyLogic Altimeter One. i'd like to be able to put the altimeter in them. I've done some googling on how to put in a payload bay, but here's what I don't understand:
If I put bulkheads between the parachute and the engine, will the burst that deploys the parachute still do so effectively? I can't put it in the nosecone for either model, because they are sealed.
I'm sure I'm just not understanding something correctly.

Thanks!

**EDIT: I just noticed the typo in the title. Crap. Nothing to be done, now.**

Putting the ALt1 in the crossfire is a pain in the but trying to pack it in with the parachute. You may want to swap out the parachute for a streamer which can roll up much tighter/smaller than the chute
