Hello all, just another BAR!

I'm from NJ, currently staying in NC.
Built most of the Estes rockets from the early 70s, sadly don't have any around anymore.

I have been an amateur astronomer for just over 50 years, guess that's what re-sparked my interest in model rockets.

We are in Charlotte, and will be till about the end of the year.

Most folks move south for retirement, but we miss family and friends in NJ, also have family in Montreal, so this feels real far away.

we have the Charlotte rocketry club but won't start back up till Fall as the crops will be in until then.
