I'm going for the NAR B Payload Altitude - Altimeter competition at NARAM 61 in Muncie, Indiana.
I was wondering if anyone has any tips or experiences with this competition?

Thanks,

Tempting, I might come out of LPR competition retirement to fly this event. Crazy technology is possible in payload but in your age division you probably don't have to go completely nuts. Long (full 34" tube) piston launcher, no tower, slickest finish you can make. The piston is not optional if you want to win. Sim it and get as close to optimum mass as you can, but the finish is worth more than the last gram of mass. Firefly, MicroPeak or Adrel altimeter (2-3 grams). Fireflies are easier to get. Good luck and have fun!
