Ah. Really, though, with the standard Mosquito the only point to a "recovery" system would be to increase visibility.
Partially true, although there is an aspect of the Mosquito’s propensity for “disappearing” that is likely unrecognized. “Featherweight” is simply ballistic with low mass, so the bird likely comes down pretty fast, being small to start with, coming down “pretty fast” doesn’t give your eyeballs much time to “acquire the target” on descent. So ANYTHING , even nose-blow, that slows it down on descent gives you a better sporting chance of finding it.

Mosquito R.E. ("recoverable edition"). It has a streamer in the nose, and the fins moved 1/4" forward so there's room to use tape for motor retention. Other than that it's a regular (mini) Mosquito.
