Does anyone know what the equivalent BP ejection charge would be for an Estes 18mm motor? Working a unique design that I need to do some ejection testing for.

0.4-0.5g is probably a good starting point. But as with all things related to ejection, you really won't have the 'right' number until you've tested for yourself, using your process, composition, etc.

Understood. Planning to use a AT 18/20 as a way to load a charge for ejection testing after I had a separation failure on an experimental airframe recently. Wanted to know what was nominal-ish so I have a benchmark to measure against. Planning to use Estes BP for actual flights, but may need to adjust that plan based on these results.
