Gorgeous, Custom, Heavy Duty Carbon Fiber Nosecone. It has a 29.25” exposed length, plus a 6” shoulder (35.25” overall). The layup thickness is about 1/8” making it extremely strong. It also features a bulkhead near the tip with a ½-13 thread so that lead shot can be added (4-5 lb) and then plugged. I will throw in a long funnel for adding ballast, and a plug. Asking $250 or Best Offer, plus shipping from Lancaster, NY.

This was made by "Dangerous Dave" Gawlik years ago. I think he first made fiberglass parts professionally for racecar teams and such. When he started making rocket parts, his skills transferred nicely. He "hired" me to make fin molds for him, and he paid me in nose cones. I'm not exactly sure what this is worth, but $250 felt in the ballpark.

Nothing wrong with the price IMO, makes me wish I had a spare $250, I am thinking a 7.5" Carbon Big Daddy would be just too cool.

I am not criticizing the price. It is likely fair. Just too rich for me. I was complementing the quality.

I still have this nose cone. I will throw in free shipping to continental US.
