NC rocketry community and other interested persons!
Here is the final (!) schedule for the 2008 launches at the Bayboro site
in Eastern North Carolina.
All sport launches are sanctioned by both Tripoli and NAR and will have
certification-capable people on hand at all launches. All Research
launches will be sponsored by TRA and Tripoli safety rules will be in
force at all times.
Jan 19-20 Two-day sport launch
Feb 23-24 Saturday sport / Sunday Research
Mar 15-16 Saturday sport / Sunday Research
April 5-6 Spring WELD (two day TRA research event) *
April 26-27 Two-day sport launch*
Summer recess

* April and September events will be tentative because of planting in

* Spring WELD will mark the celebration of the first annual "Level 3
reprise event". Rebuild, repair, spruce up and bring out of mothballs
your Level 3 certification rocket and fly it on a homemade motor. The
general notion is to make it as close as possible to the specifications
that it flew for your cert flight, but liberal standards will apply,
especially as regards to safety or installing a bigger motor.
