the decals & chute add the extra $60!
But yeah, I'll kinda agree.. Not too sure who they're trying to compete against.. Madcow 4" kits are typically around $100, but without the chute or decals..

And there are probably some potential customers - like me - who love the Initiator because it was their first MPR kit and who love AT kits because they don’t require as much futzing as some other brands. A 4 inch kit I’m confident I can actually build and fly safely that’s under $200 and looks just like my current favorite rocket? Sounds good to me.
I'm nostalgic for the Initiator, too, it's a rocket I had around 1990 and built another one of recently. I'm sort of not that sold on it just looking the same and not going together the same way, and the price isn't outrageous but it isn't a steal either. So it's kind of on my "I bet this will go on sale eventually" mental list.
