Advice on a streamer for an Estes Eliminator?

I don't want to chase this thing on a chute.

I have some Mylar streamers (mostly for competition) but I know Top Flight sells some too.

I THINK I used a standard 4" or 6" before and it came in a LITTLE hot but it still managed to crack the fincan. Grrr!

Any advice?

I do not have any made up right now, but you could do a 6" wide streamer with a cupped end. I fold 4" over and sew up the sides to make a pocket. This acts like a small chute and streamer combo.

You sew up the final 4" just on the sides? I like that!

Fold 4" from one end over onto itself. Then sew the edges together all but 1/2" from the top so air can escape.

I generally just fly mine with a small 'chute (12 inches is plenty), but this cupped end streamer is interesting.

I fly mine with a 12" chute as well but have flown it on a 4" wide by 60" long foil streamer that had been "Z" folded. It still came down fast but I was flying in in a field of 12-15 inch tall wet grass so I knew it would have a soft landing.
