This weekend I had a maiden launch of my Falcon Heavy with fall away boosters. My goal with this project was to design all the components (where reasonable) to be 3D printable to work with Estes BT-60 tubes and make the files and instructions available for anyone to download, print, build. I have some work cut out to make some instructions, but it flew great and worked as intended. Below are some pictures of the build and first launch.

More to come!

But were the fairing halves recovered by your recovery vessel Doug? It looks great, you need to make this as a kit we can all buy from you.
I do not yet have a 3D printer, but it's looking like I'm seriously going to need one in the near future.

I'm seriously considering making a kit available for purchase (along with releasing the files for anyone that wants to print themselves). I'm trying to figure out a reasonable cost. It might also be my justification to upgrade my 3 year old printer if there is real interest from people to buy 😁

I'd be interested in either a "builders" style kit or the files if I can ever figure out the right settings.

Ok, so anyone seriously interested in purchasing a builders kit, please PM me so I can get an estimated initial demand. I'm going to have to plan how to batch print pieces so I can estimate how long until I could ship. I'm thinking of there is enough interest then the first 10 or so will come at a lower price than is eventually advertise. Thanks!
