I don't place a time on when a hobby gets my attention any more than I did when I quit smoking, drinking and drugs. I just do it when I'm in the mood.
Fly a 2-stage APCP rocket, probably H-G though perhaps G-G or H-H.
Run for school board.
I know which one will take more of my time.
So many roll-overs from 2018.
New Years Resolutions:
- Get out to the desert to launch something -- 100%
Build down the LP build pile-- dispose of the never-to-be-built kits -- 20%- Finish the three stage (F to E to C) (thinking of naming the design Ill-considered III) -- 0%
- Finish the finless-sustainer two-stage -- 50%
BuildFinish the stand+enclosure for the Shapeoko XL CNC -- 10%- Assemble the Maslow CNC -- 0%
- RSO/LCO at a club HP launch. -- 0%
- Non-pyro dual deploy system (I have a plan) -- 15%
- Solder (so much soldering). -- N/A
- Cross the Kármán Line in a manned rocket glider powered by rocket-candy + aerosolized corn 100%
For the LOLZ. I got a chuckle.Im sorry, whatnow?

Build a 3D printed Mars Lander. I got the original kit in late 1970 or so, when I was in no way ready to build a kit like that. Ended up using the parts for other models. Now for various reasons I want to put together and fly a 3D printed version.
2019 will be the year of rocketry electronics for me. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this year.
[emoji818]️ (check!) 1. Fly dual deploy at every high power launch I attend (preparing for a L3 attempt in 2020).
[emoji818]️ (check!) 2. Track a rocket via GPS at every high power launch I attend.
[emoji818]️ (check!) 3. Practice electronic staging with LPR and MPR rockets.
[emoji818]️ (check, though I have yet to fly it.) 4. Build a thrust vectored rocket using the BPS Signal R2 flight computer
