Beating up on Semroc over an honest mistake is going to win you as many friends here as kicking puppies, stealing cookies from Girl Scouts and peeing on the U.S. flag.

On this forum, getting belligerent about Semroc's customer service at this particular time will make you about as popular as a peodophile with leprosy. Maybe less.

Sheryl posted this a few days ago in the thread about the company closing down:

Wasn't really expecting the amount of orders that would be coming in. I had said that the orders would be delayed for a day or 2. It looks like it could take up to a week to process the orders. I am taking them as they come in. If we are out of stock on anything you ordered, you will be refunded. Please have patience with us.

So, it sounds like the product you ordered isn't in stock and thus your refund.

This guy isn't worth our time so don't let him get under your skin. It's unfortunately there are so many inconsiderate people in the world, but it is what it is. We will all remember SEMROC and the great business they provided all of us.
 
You jerks are quick to judge! A simple question turns into a hateful thread. I asked the question trying to find out if this was the norm or not. These parts I ordered were for a rocket I was building for a 10 year old in the cancer ward. I volunteer there 3 times a week. But hey you guys are right, even if you think know WTF is going on. He past on to a better place yesterday. Maybe the man upstairs will forgive you. So I hope you all feel big and bad now.
 
Your question was not the cause of the thread shouting.

This was:
Placed a order got it in a timely manner. But got a wrong item. Contacted them about it and found out a refund was issued instead of sending the correct item out, which is in stock. So now to get what I need, I have to place another $20.00 order. What kind of crap is that? Sounds like bad business to me. I have always had great customer service, but this just doesn't go down well.

Even though in the other semroc thread, Sheryl CLEARLY posted:

Their site may not have updated when you made your order.




I am not defending anybody, nor am I bashing anybody. I am just stating facts.


I am going to go back to my workshop now.... :)

I was afraid this was headed south yesterday but hoped everyone would just leave it alone.
