I just looked at the Semroc site and it still lists a price for the Saturn V of only $50. But the 1B is $70. Why the big difference? Does that tell us to expect less with the Saturn V?

I can not believe the tubes and wraps make that much of a difference and in a way, expected the Saturn V to actually cost more.

There are a lot more parts in a Saturn 1B kit than a Saturn V.

True.

BTW, Semroc can't release this kit until tbzep builds his own version from scratch. That's just the way it works. You all should really be hounding HIM and not Carl! :D

SEMROC will give us nothing but the best whether it's a Saturn V or an Astron Mark. And besides, no matter how high we set our expectations, SEMROC finds a way to surpass them.

I can send you most of the other parts!

Thanks for the very kind comments.

The Saturn V does have less parts, but the $50 is a one batch price, as promised. After the first 200 or so, the price will go up. I don't know what the final price will be, but I am guessing around $60.

$60.00? when "E" did the last run wasn't it around $100.00? Are you going to China?:y:

when might we expect to see it offered for purchase?

See post #9 of this thread. No definitive answer to that it seems. Historically, Semroc has released a batch of new kits every 3-4 months. Christmas usually falls into one of those intervals-and Carl said the SatV won't be ready for it. Soooo....best case, I'd say early spring or mid-late summer.
