I have a CTI L910 (pro 75 2 grain) And I noticed when I went to assemble the motor that one end of one grain is noticeably convex, And I can't find anything in the instructions about it. its significant enough where the grain spacer O-ring wouldn't be much use at all if that grain was touching but not abnormally large. Is this normal or no? I just want to be safe with my first loading of a Pro75 Motor.

Sounds defective... The N5800 grains we received were all basically perfectly square cut.

If you were to put the convex end anywhere, put it on the nozzle end (which could probably accept some convexity).

That's what I was thinking about doing, I was just curious tho

Im hoping Jeroen Chimes in here, but I will talk to Rob and Gloria at AMW and worst comes to worst ill put the convex side down towards the nozzle or sand it down flush.

Pro75 and Pro98 grains are cast in longer sticks. The last grain is a bit harder to cut, and sometimes the blade wanders a bit. Just face this grain towards (into) the nozzle. It is free extra propellant ;-) !

Thanks Dr. J! One last question, Anyone have any tips to keep the nozzle holder on the nozzle when putting the liner/grain assembly into the case? When I assembled the L910 C-Star I used the grain spacer I had to keep the nozzle holder level as I pushed it in the aft end of the case, but does anyone have any other (better) ways to do this?

yes,put a little grease inside of the case at the top end and push it in from the top down.
