Maybe SpaceX will adopt that naming convention?

Wow, I was in Southend on Sea last year. But, I was there before the vote....Weather was great when i arrived, drizzly one day (I had meetings all day) and spectacular the next two days.

Shout out to the 9 folks in China, 4 folks in Cuba, 1 dude in Somalia, and …..16k people in Turkey? that are throwing their votes in from oversea

I like how the ranking of the states by vote correlates with a ranking of the states by population.

Alabama punching above it’s weight, though.

You're forgetting Huntsville is home to NASA Marshall Spaceflight Center and Army Redstone Arsenal. There's a deceptively high concentration of engineers, tech people, and general space fans around here.

Heck, we have Two Sat5s

None of the listed names seem particularly appropriate to me. Really don't understand why they would name the rover after a crabgrass pre-emergent treatment (Tenacity). I went with Courage.

I voted for Ingenuity which to me resonates with prior names like Spirit, Opportunity, Curiosity, and is NOT jinxing itself. Endurance and Perseverance seem like names asking the fates to make the mission a short one. Clarity would have been my second choice.
