UROC had its annual Hellfire out on the Bonneville salt flats! The weather was clear and very hot! I was able to get my L3 launch done and with the successful launch and recovery, earned my L3!!!

I used a Madcow rocketry AGM-33 Pike 8" diameter on a Aerotech N2220 DM. It was beautiful!
6184 feet AGL.
Hope to have video of it sometime soon.

Back in the day I spent a number of years racing motorcycles during Speed Week and the salt flats are like no other place on earth ....
The big motors warming up at dawn and the sound of the early runs reverberating off the salt and distant hills will always be part of me.


And ... I can imagine a very cool place to launch rockets!
 
Thanks All! It turned out beautiful! I finished putting on the rest of the decals yesterday, so next flight it is all ready! Thanks to Stickershock23 for printing them! Though I messed up one and its a bit off.... oh well.
Don't know who else was out at Hellfire that might have gotten video of it?
