This is a diy water rocket. It uses a cork with an inflation needle run through the center. It out performed the vinegar and baking soda rockets I've been using for previous launches. Non Estes(pyro engine) type rockets tend to get looked down on, but when you have limited field access, you gotta improvise.

Maybe it is the angle of the camera, but I'm not sure I would want my head hanging out "over" the rocket while pumping it up....
A good way to get a rocketry fix in during a burn ban though!
