So, who's going?

I'll be there with a full booth (email me if you need something other than kits).

I will be testing out several new proto types, including the two shown here.

Looks like good weather! :)

I hope to be there, trying to get Kyle ready for his college freshman year, he leaves on the 20th of August. If I come alone I will not sure what I will fly but for sure it will be easy to retrieve.

Jim those prototypes look great.

Those look great! Even painted too. ;)
Not very often we at CMASS get to Jim's proto types painted.
Of course I'll be there. I just finished my Tartar and I'll have my Semroc Sky Hook and Excalibur that I finished since the last launch.

I will be there on saturday.

I will be flying 5 of the 6 Series 1 LOC mini missiles and Jim Flis' Lil Guy in NERRF 5 motif. I am going back to my roots and flying some small stuff.

I made it to todays launch. First one in a year!

first up was my Kirk/spaceman on an A8-3 to test the winds:

Next was my Mini space shuttle clone on am A8-3:

Next was the first flight of my StarShip Vega clone on a B6-4:

Followed by my Orbital Goonie-ceptor on a B6-4:

Then the first flight of the Goonship Vega:

No photo, but I flew my Flis-kits Avelar on an A8-3, good thing I did not use a
B6-4. This thing gets off the pad quick and goes high.
Also no photo, my trusty Mach 10 clone.

Last was a drag race with Tony of our PemTech Space ark Jrs on C11-5's

Over all a great day of flying.

Mark

Was great to see you at the launch Mark.
Glad we finally got to drag race our Space Ark Jr.s. :)
Here are my pics (my is on the right). I wanted to get a shot of both of them on the pad but Kenn was in a hurry to launch them. :p
BTW nice picture of my back. ;)

Sorry about that, Tony. Next time just write "Photo Op" on your flight card and I'll hold the launch. Or better, walk through the center of the pad circle and your rocket will be in the penalty box for a few rounds and not go anywhere for that time. ;)

BTW nice picture of my back. ;)
For future reference, which is your good side? Very nice shot of the old CMASS hat, though. I wonder when the new hats from a few years ago are going to come in, Jimmie D.

Great day of flying! got to launch several proto's. Some worked, some didn't, but that's why we test :)

Here are a few pix:

  • Claude continues to explore and have fun with foam cups.
  • Tony gets his Tartar into the air (had a weird twist at motor burn out)
  • The "Cats Eye" didn't fair very well (unstable)
  • Nell turned in a great flight (she always does).
  • The Journeyman turned in two great flights. Certain to be a kit!

Could not make it to the launch this Saturday. I had to work 4am-10:30 and then again at 3pm to 11pm.

Nice looking prototypes you got there Jim. The one reminds me of the MRC Trailblazer I had. What motors does it use?

Looking back at mach7's first photo (of his Kirk/spaceman) I've noted that the highways and byways of Massachusetts have been cleaner looking since Claude has been building bigger larger foam models.

Sorry Tony,

But I was trying to keep your secret identity, well, secret.

Kind of like Batman.

It was great seeing you and all the CMASS guys again, and meeting Keith.

It is 18mm and the B and C motors work great in that size. It's a sharp looking model!

It was great meeting you too Mark. Matt and I had a good time wish we could have stayed longer.

It was a great day, one of the best days weather wise.

Thanks Ken. It's actually part of my 100 hours of community service.

Hmmmmm ... I'm not sure I should have said that.

Claude
