Finally it's over. It's a boy. Whoopie!:eyeroll:
Thank you!
I am surrounded by Anglophiles who gush over this stuff. As for me, I don't give a rodent's patootie.
It is refreshing to hear sentiment from like-minded folks.
That's a Fat Rodents Patootie---Just had to correct you dear sir---I got your six--H
Cool. She shoved out a lizard. Congrats Kate.

I just got back, I was there Big "D". Willy called me the other night to say he was sending a private jet. They wanted me to be there for the big occasion. Great time but I had to get back for work. Finally it's over. It's a boy. Whoopie!:eyeroll:
On the other hand, our monarchical heritage is great. I love visiting castles, and anyone who takes a vacation over here wold be silly not to bathe in our rich past.
Only two days ago I was chatting to some American visitors at he top of Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. As we looked out over the ancient city they were staggered a the sheer age of our history.
I'll let monarchy have that. Not this reign though, they have built exactly ZERO nice things for me to go look at.
Why is the new baby an heir to the throne and his uncle Harry is not? Is that because Harry looks like the mailman?
Just an observation.

Isn't it the first son that is the heir? So it's Charles, William, then baby William. I guess you'd be right, if something happened to them all, then maybe Harry. Hell, I don't know. Seems to me Elizabeth is going to live till Charles passes away anyway. I wasn't much of a history buff. I'm more the math guy, which is why rocketry seems to suit me....isn't Harry 4rd in line after Charles, then William, then his son?
