Here's my scratch built Astrobee-D (2.6 inch diameter), which I think has made an appearence in this thread before.
Today she's flying on a G54RL. A full G with a 3 second or so burn. I believe it is called a moonburner. The central hole isn't, central that is. ;) It's offset. That makes even the teenie tiny e-match they supply a PITA to get in (as mentioned here with the long burn H as well). I wound up unscrewing the closure, removing the nozzle, putting in the match, then threading the nozzle and closure over the lead. All that mishegoss only to misfire (which with CTI is REALLY REALLY rare). I installed a self-dipped Magnelite (doing the whoel mishegoss all over again) and we were off.

Sweet! Must get more... :)

Is it that hard to get the igniter in there? I didn't have any problem at all when I flew a G54.

Jeroen, I just noticed there's a 98-5 reload, but no 98-5 hardware.

Are there any plans to produce such a case in the future, and equally important, to produce more reloads in that size?

More reloads are planned, but probably no hardware.

Jeroen

I'm pretty sure that load comes with its own spacer!

Gary,

That is the 5.3Grain M3700, which comes with a 0.7-grain spacer so it can be loaded in a 6G case. Single-use disposable spacer.

You can add another regular spacer to use the Pro75-6GXL hardware.

Jerone , any chance / thought of maybe a pro 150 2 grain motor system ? You could probally get a pretty nice WT load in the full N range . How about a Vmax single grain motor ? Will there be any more single use pro130's in the future ?

Eric,

We have Pro150-2G hardware and some loads that were developed for a small UAV. However, they are not very cost-effective for HPR. We do have some 3G Vmax reloads for the Pro150. We may certify those. But the market for Pro150's is very small.

Regarding SU Pro130's: maybe. Let's first see the O25,000's in action.

I flew my first 'M' motor on my L3 cert. flight last weekend. Here's a CTI M2505 White Thunder (3G 98mm) in an Ultimate Wildman. I apologize for the lack of contrast, but it was a pretty grey day. Flight went great to 8650 feet in altitude and 874 fps airspeed in a 50 pound rocket. Looking forward to flying many more CTI 98mm loads.

Would it be possible to see more reload options for the 1-3 grain Pro 29 motors? Such as Green^3, Pink, C*?

Also, does anybody know if the Pro 24 1-grain motors require HAZ-MAT to ship in Canada?

Does anyone have good pics of a CTI 98mm White load?

I'm trying to convince a friend of a certain motor choice, and I think a good pic will help. :)

Kevin, Here's a still of the above flight.

Thanks, Gary! Your video & pic had the desired result.

The plan is now for an N1800W, and I'm suggesting to him that we pair it with some I125W for added smoke.

Now, to start saving pennies for hardware and reloads. :)

He, I thought is was for a friend?

For our European customers: We had a CE audit today. We should have the complete ProX line CE-approved shortly!

Happy Easter everyone,
Jeroen

All motors have to go HAZMAT in Canada. Even Estes.

Thanks, guys. My friend is convinced

I'm going to loan the hardware; his plan is to fly on an N1800 and four I125s. Plan is to fly at AirFest

We have a new reload ready for the Pro98-6GXL hardware. Awaiting the next certification session. Here is a sample.

Jeroen.

Okay, I'm now very interested -- if that's a long-burn White, that might be an even better option than the N1800 a friend was considering!
