Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on Pro Series releases for this year. The Nike Smoke for me was a Home Run and I have a Mega Max with paint drying. What would people like to see from the line in 2013?

Mercury Redstone
Phoenix
Black Brandt II

Just a few of my favorites

A Phoenix would be sweet, but I think Estes is going to ride the current lineup for a bit before we see anything new.

I hope they roll out a few more, at our club we are seeing a lot of folks my age (40's) getting back into the hobby and it is a great line of rockets to make you feel like a grown up 7th grader.

Mercury Redstone, V-2, Plasma Probe. If they don't do the Plasma Probe up scale to Pro series II, I'm going to.

V2 or Phoenix.

Plasma Probe would be a worthy addition!

But, in considering it, a Pro-Series Mean Machine would probably do them quite well.

Later!

x-15, v2, pershing 1a, uber mean machine,redstone,fat boy,big daddy,black brant,sr-71,comanche 3 all got my vote

I still say the Optima begs for the pro series treatment.

I could not agree more. The optima will finally get the power it needs. It is the best looking rocket Estes ever made.

Like another poster said, I think Estes needs to chill on the Pro Series II line-up till everyones' builds catch up.

... but an upscale of the mini eliptical two stager to fly the new F15 booster motor would be nice.
I've come to the conclusion that my build pile will never catch up.
I'd like to see a 4" Citation Patriot(same nosecone as MDRM).

In addition to a V-2 (I have the Maxi version), I'd like to see a Maxi Little Joe II. A 4" or 6" would work for me.

Are they expected to come out with more? The 2013 catalog is out and there weren't any new ones in it.

The 2013 catalog only reflects those products that should be out in the first half of the year. That leaves six more months of rockets not shown.

1/45th Apollo Little Joe II and 1/35 Mercury Atlas (they would both use nearly the same sized tube (3.422" for the former, 3.429" for the latter -- use one size and cheat on the other :) )

Tease :) I'm voting for the Optima twice now. I'll also toss in I'd love to see heavier birds, pushing right up toward 3.3 pounds loaded out....and a G80-4 (hey one can dream)

A lot of you guys are saying Optima....and I intend on building one myself with some nose cones and stuff I bought on TRF. What do you want though? A re-release with a 29mm mount or upscaled to 3 or 4 "? 3" wouldn't be much bigger, but they could use the Leviathan nosecone and heavy walled tube. Shoot, I think I just talked myself into a Leviathan kitbash!
