I'm very sorry to hear that and can relate to the loss of both my own father and my wife's father.
My condolences and I hope the healing can start sooner than later, but healing is always required for sure.

Stay strong for Bridget, as I'm sure you will. You are a stronger person than most and she is tough as nails as well, but your job is being her foundation now and you are the right guy for the job.
