thanksWhat, these old things?
Now that's what interests me as I owned 8 dirt bikes through the years
Dude, after everything I've been through, I cherish...That's the difficult struggle I face every day. Must be in my DNA
What the heck?
Gotta have the property to build a shop, not all lots are big enough due to set backs and other regulations and codes.I guess if the garage is used for something truly productive, that is used on a nearly daily basis, it makes sense on some level. But it would seem more logical to build a "shop", and use the garage, as a garage.
For most folks, vehicles are probably the 2nd most expensive purchase they make. Many folks pile their garages full of useless crap, and leave their expensive vehicles out in the elements?
Yep... and we've gone full circle right back to that Planning 101 thing again...Gotta have the property to build a shop, not all lots are big enough due to set backs and other regulations and codes.
Also trying to see how it looks shorter vs. stock kit. I think I prefer the stock kit length.

That's a yoga mat!
I'm planning some mods, but not that much!
Tried some possible mods for Dragon Rocketry 4" Colonial Viper using a Starblazer X-20 canopy (I always felt the canopy on the viper rockets were a bit mis-proportioned) and trying some side strakes to perhaps widen the middle a bit...I'm planning some mods, but not that much!
Also note that you've posted a pic of the newer version, which is rounder. I was actually considering getting some European foam kit closer to that and converting it to a rocket, but it seems like too much trouble and money.

I really like the canopy, but may try something else on the sides.

BT-55 airframe. How big is that Tuber? what motors does it take?
I was hoping it was bigger, like 4ft tallBT-55 airframe.
D12-0 booster.
C11 or D12 sustainer.
A Doug Sams creation.
If you upscale it to a BT-80 tube it will be around 46.5 inches long.I was hoping it was bigger, like 4ft tall

Depending on the climate in one's location, "out in the elements" may not be doing the car any harm. And then keeping it indoors seems like a waste. Why build a shop when you've already got a shop named Garage?I guess if the garage is used for something truly productive, that is used on a nearly daily basis, it makes sense on some level. But it would seem more logical to build a "shop", and use the garage, as a garage.

Yes, do that.I really should step away from building and go launch my first rocket this weekend.

That goes for probably more than 90% of cool looking SciFi vehicles.First. The first time I saw a BSG Viper I said to my self, Where do they keep the fuel. Three rocket motors that are also air breathing and no place for fuel. Looked cool though.
