I think the fact that you're on TRF at all pretty much qualifies you...
That qualifies you... But how do you show your pride in it?I think the fact that you're on TRF at all pretty much qualifies you...

"Wanna see my drawin of a cyclop gurl?"
I had a white Pinto
I will see your pintos and raise you one VW Thing.cyclop gurl?
I had a white Pinto too! (Didn't draw cyclop gurlz though; mostly designed race cars...)
1966 Dodge Monaco 4 door with a 383.
Had a 1972 green sedan.I had a white Pinto too!
You just have to Truist your judgment. No, but there's a noticeable effect if you're at Mile High Stadium.
I will see your pintos and raise you one VW Thing.
(Not mine, but same color and extras.)
Wish I had never sold it.
Why wouldn't a manual transmission count? These days they're like geeky secret knowledge known only to the ancient shamans.I drive a Subaru, and my Wife and I have had 8 total. I suppose the one with the Manual Trans doesn't count.

How about a dark blue 1972 Mazda Rx-2 sedan? Very much like this coupe, but a four-door. I still miss it.I had a beat up Toyota Carina... does that count?
Indeed. Our gas-burning car is a stick and we've managed to get four of the five kids to learn manual, and at least one of them still prefers them as my wife and I do.Why wouldn't a manual transmission count? These days they're like geeky secret knowledge known only to the ancient shamans.
Sure it does, but you get more nerd points for rebuilding an automatic than rebuilding an manual trans. I've done neither, but I have replaced a blown head gasket. Hmm, these are more geek points than nerd points.I drive a Subaru, and my Wife and I have had 8 total. I suppose the one with the Manual Trans doesn't count.
I once cracked a 1948 Farmall Cub in half, replaced the clutch, and put it back together. Is that worth any points?Sure it does, but you get more nerd points for rebuilding an automatic than rebuilding an manual trans. I've done neither, but I have replaced a blown head gasket. Yeah buddy! Thanks for contributing!I drive a Subaru, and my Wife and I have had 8 total. I suppose the one with the Manual Trans doesn't count.
Fat fingers and tiny buttons. Fixed it.I'd say so, since you would have had to make a time machine to go back to 1848 and make a Farmall Cub a hundred years before anyone else
I've split many John Deeres. Gets really interesting when after that you need to take off the axle housings!
I still have a working HP15C (surprising as the batteries are 30+ years old).
Plus an HP15C app on my iPhone that I use almost daily...
On the subject of calculators here’s one of my all time favorites the ti-89 titanium. You may have had to learn to program and flip through a hundreds of page manual to learn the thing but still the most capable calculator I’ve ever had. It can even do three demonsions and parametrics which my nspire hates lolView attachment 523946
Man, I wish I had still had my 15C. I loved that thing.
