I suggestion the time tested prototype. Build a 1/2A powered prototype simply for experimentation. Perfect it that way.

Actually it’s a TFNCWFF; Twelve Fins and a Nose Cone With Four Fins.

And it should be realatively easy to model, because the fins are made out of wood on the original!
