I definitely get the joke but
We were on South African Airlines back and forth from London to Johannesburg in coach and the food and service was good. Way better than first class on US domestic flights I have been on.

We were on South African Airlines back and forth from London to Johannesburg in coach and the food and service was good. Way better than first class on US domestic flights I have been on.

I bet FC on that London to Jburg flight was Fabulous.
I used to fly some for work, and often worked directly with airlines, so got upgraded a couple times. Perk of enduring business travel. I've flown shuttles from Paris to London with better food and service than domestic US. Once you step down to domestic European flights the space is tighter, but the food is still better than domestic US. A truckstop sandwich can be an experience in Europe. Of course, finding an open truckstop in the middle of the night will also be an experience.
