Just received my FlightSketch Mini today.
Just any FYI! I could not connect to either of my Verizon's, Samsung Galaxy Note 9, or my Samsung Tab S4, until I turned Location on.
Once I did that, it works great!
Thanks!

yes, took me a week of trial to figure that one out. Would be good to add that in the instructions/FAQ for the product. it was frustrating.

Some correlation data from the weekend. Flew same rocket twice, same G25 reload, with both a JL3 and FS mini (in a 3d printed case) on the same Kevlar loop in a well-vented A/V bay. I saw 1338 feet on FS mini on the first flight with a slightly early deploy, 1344 feet recorded on the JL3. Second flight in slightly higher winds with some weather cocking, but a good delay drill saw 1440 on the FS, 1455 on the JL3. Both flights worked great for the FS. Great product. I'll get some more data on the 25th, weather pending. I forgot to put the FS in my high DD flight, would have some 3600'-ish data if that were the case.

I finally got around to making a pouch for my Mini. Cloth from an old blaze orange jacket with a bad zipper. Sewed the edges with needle & thread. Glued the Velcro on with Fabri-Tac that I bought to enhance my Estes ignitors.
