My mom was in the Eastern Star as well.

I do not know how she did it all.
Cooked, would sew dresses, design plutonium pellets among others.
She was very active in Eastern Star. She out shined my Dad, him being a Mason with the level of work she did with the teens of mason families.
That photo her holding the gavel, she was just elected to Grand Worthy Matron of the John Davidson Lodge in Augusta, GA.
She was an amazing Mom.
