The original thread is here:

I flew the Super Phoenix again yesterday for the first time since LDRS. I used the Aerotech I49 since i was out of !59's. It really did need that extra boost grain on the 59 to get it moving. You can see it drop off the end of the launcher on the 49. At this point it is flying on the wing. It did get going pretty fast as the boost continued.

Videos are on Facebook here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/169186229849873/

Thanks to Jerry (Cosmo) for the videos. At least i now have proof that it flies.

I will be finishing the wing graphics and getting some !59's for the future. :)

Nice videos!! Even though it dropped off the end of the launcher it was still a great flight. I had to watch the video to understand what you were talking about and now it makes sense.

My thanks to Kevin and Cosmo. Is there a build thread for this bird?

Richard

Thanks kj. I'm sure sharing is fine. I'll check with him to make sure.

Sorry, no build thread. It's just a two times upscale of the original Aerotech Phoenix. There are a few photos in the original thread but this would be a long build thread.

Last month I picked up yet another kit of the original Phoenix.
