The Superstition Spacemodeling Society (SSS) and Mohave Area Rocket Society (MARS AZ) are pleased to announce that SpringBlast! 2014 is on schedule for April 25-27 at Mars’ Red Dry Lake site in Kingman, AZ.
Waiver is 7,700 ft MSL with Call-in windows up to 17,000ft. NAR rules will be in effect. Tripoli members welcome.
Certified and Tripoli Research motors 1/8A to O, model, and clustered and complex high power rockets may be flown.
We will be setting up on Friday, April 25 and having a star party, so bring your scope.
Saturday will include all day flying, a raffle, a potluck dinner followed by a night launch.
Sunday will include flying with the range closing in the early afternoon.
RV camping will be allowed from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening. Generators will be allowed from 9:00am until 10:00pm.
Bay Area Rocketry will be supporting the launch with rockets, motors, and supplies, plus hotdogs.
