Anybody going to the SOAR launch Oct 22nd ? I have just joined them and was looking for some info and a contact number.

Wow. Newnan, GA is pretty far away. You should definitely come to the HPR launch in Lilly in November. You are a lot closer than most of the other SoAR members.

Thanks alot Matt! Where is Lilly? can you give me an address for map quest?

How about Google Maps:
https://maps.google.com/maps?q=111+oak+st+lilly,+ga&spn=0.015119,0.040810&iwloc=A&hl=en

I used 111 oak st as an example so it puts a red tag there. You can zoom out with the controls on the side. Drag the map to re-center it.

Here are general directions (from the center of Newnan to the center of Lilly. You can put in your own address to make it more specific if you want, but I don't know the address of the sod farm.

Apparently, you live only approximately 6 minutes closer than I do (assuming we both live in the centers of our cities). It should take 3 hours, 29 minutes from Newnan, or 3 hours, 35 minutes from Roswell. It looks like you are a lot closer, but maybe not. Roswell is about 15 miles further.

If it does take 3 hours, it's still worth coming!!! Even if you just fly LPR or MPR it's a blast.

Here is the GAMMA field from Google Earth. I enjoyed my one trip there.
