Hello Everyone,
Ive built several Estes model rockets as a kid, got back into it when I moved to Colorado to go to flight school.
Had the opportunity to go to Estes rockets in Penrose, started seriously collecting kits.
Now is 30 years later and decided to get out some kits and fly them again.
Looking forward to building and flying more now that I have some time.

Welcome! I find this a nice place, hope you do, too. I returned to the hobby in January 2020, as I neared retirement. It had been about 50 years since I'd been able to fly anything. What I suspected turned out to be greater than I expected: The miniaturization of electronics and the advent of GPS, along with computer simulations and the now-legal high power rocketry have really thrown the possibilities wide open - and there is a lot of knowledge, help, and encouragement to be found here. I thought an Estes black-powder "D" was something - folks around here regularly do H's and higher! Maybe someday...

Anyway, welcome again!
