Has anyone entered a paper model they made in an official nar sanctioned scale contest ? which model? how did it do? I was considering doing a titan 4 orion for a concept scale contest, it will still qualify until they launch it later this year .

Yes. I have seen a paper X-15 entered at a NARAM a few years back.
Don't recall haw it fared.

I've entered paper models twice, once in Sport Scale and once in Scale. The Sport Scale model was a Fiddler's Green kit of the X-15, was one of the first paper models I attempted and finished in the middle of the pack. The Scale model was an upscale of a Mercury Redstone model I found online, about 3" diameter, that I flew at NARAM 50. It got 170 of 200 dimension points, something I was quite happy about. Again finished in the middle of the pack, but was fun nonetheless.

I say go for it!
