Now that I have a working 1:65 scale Falcon 9 and I'm close to a working 1:65 scale Falcon Heavy, I'd like to launch them from a realistic launch complex.

I'm particularly interested in working T.E.L (Strongback) and flame trench designs.

I'm wondering if anyone has built a scale model of the Kennedy space center launch complex 39. What materials were used? What scale?
Google says: search results

Which links to some Legos kits, and some out of date Space Shuttle models. Searches of this forum have not turned up anything.

The best kit I have found is Anthony Ivor Williams kit which may prove difficult to scale from 1:72 to 1:65 scale.

I'm also looking for scale references for any Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39 structural details.

Lots of rain and canceled club launches means time for research.

This article was published right before SpaceX took over SLC 39A. It has several 360 degree views from inside the Fixed Service Structure (FSS)

Here is a really cool but not perfectly accurate 3D model on Sketchfab of the Fixed Service Structure (tower only).

And NAS has this amazing model in STL format:

And for only $300 clams there's this model:

Another good write up with quality photos from before the black cladding was added to the FSS
