I like your av bay set up. I'm wanting to rebuild the av bay for my WAC Corporal and this has been on my mind. I even thought about making pods that are only for changing the batteries... Since I rarely ever change the settings for deployment. I like how it flies and recovers. Now, granted, I really should check the wiring before each flight. But my opposing thought to that also is that if it doesn't tone out the continuity before launch - don't fly it and figure out why.

Yup. Plus, I am not sure how I want to paint it yet. So, over the winter I will figure out how I want to paint it and then have a buddy of mine paint it with basecoat/clearcoat.

Tip to tip will be one-layer 8oz and one-layer 6oz. The tubes are done with two layers of 6 oz.

Got the ebay connected to the upper body tube. Also did a test fit of all the recovery items in the upper tube. Getting closer but still got a lot of work to do.

Wrapped the final tube and started the tip to tip. Getting ready to glass the inside of a coupler that will be used for the nose/payload bay.

Did not like the short shoulder on the LOC nose cone so I decided to do a payload/tracker bay. This will give me 7.5" shoulder.

booster before tip to tip, ebay, upper body tube and nose cone is at 29.8 lbs. I should be around 40 to 42 pounds on the pad.
