No onboard video was recovered. The ballistic GPS trajectory was extrapolated to determine the impact site but a search of that area never turned up anything.

The pyro release device was fired but there was a mechanical failure that prevented nosecone release. The problem has been identified and fixed for the next flight.

Since they didn't recover it, it's a case of they think they've discovered the cause, and fixed it. Hopefully so - ballistic recoveries are hard on reusable components, not to mention it makes it that much harder to determine the root cause of a failure. Been there, dealt with that.
