Flew "Pong" on a D24-4T and it was stable under boost. When the thrust finished it kind of rotated over sideways around the heavy nose and fell. The delay popped just as it hit the ground and balls flew everywhere. Time for more super glue and perhaps a bigger engine. View attachment 631256View attachment 631257View attachment 631258

Here's a sim. I used weights from Post 60. I added a tiny little base drag hack cone, fwiw.

Well I admit defeat...
Flew pong yesterday on a Quest E35-5W motor. Had a quite spectacular, unstable skywriting flight, that deployed on the ground.
I might revisit the design in the future by integrating fins with the ping pong balls.
