In my defense, the blue "red" one was in the blue section, between the pushup container and the 4?oz bottle.

But why would they package "red" in a blue tube. Just like yesterday I discovered that Nissan painted the black battery terminal red. Granted the red one had a nice red plastic housing, but... why?

I heard about the thread locker color fiasco a year or two back. I believe it's a marketing gaffe.

One was old stock, and had been put with the blue stuff. I really only needed red, but wanted to have blue on hand. I don't feel bad about the error, but I simply was buying tube color.

buy? I couldn't afford it...

Obviously it’s your fault the red stuff is in a blue tube and was placed on the blue section of the display, but don’t beat yourself up too bad about it.

Permatex and Loctite both have a sick sense of humor. I often sit and think about all the bolts around my house which are never coming off... as parts are falling off my car.

And I 'challenged' one of my 'project leaders' the other day..

"why do you want loctite 243? we use loctite 242"
"Because it is slightly better.." (it is.. it has a better resistance to oils)

But now you have two red 1.69oz bottles, both 'blue' and bot start with 24..

And you expect our service companies to know the difference as well?!?
