Wanted to share some praise for the Estes Ghost Chaser Rocket. This is a relatively new kit from Estes, designed for first-time flyers. It features snap-together construction and quick assembly. Pictures don't really do it justice. In person, it's a very attractive rocket and larger than you would think.

It's also a great performer. At our club launch on Saturday, one of our members brought along his grandson who had built the Ghost Chaser as his first kit. The day saw us flying with a stiff wind, which caused many rockets to weather-cock. But he flew the Estes Ghost Chaser three times, starting off a B6-4 BP motor. It flew straight as an arrow, high, and beautifully all three times.

I liked it enough to admire it closely as we were packing up and ordered one when I got home.

Sometimes we get so hung up on building our HPR stuff, packed electronics, dual-deploy, etc...and we forget the pure joy of building a simple rocket that flies straight and true and comes back to us ready to fly again.

Great job Estes!
