Wow, that rocket zipped off the pad - kinda surprised me! Hope it didn't buckle the tube right in front of the engine. Great job!
Actually, the main tube is super strong; it's double walled along it's entire length. 36" x 24mm thick walled tubes on the outside and staggered full length (36") coupler tubes on the inside, glued together by an epoxy layer. Absolutely no flex if I hold the fully loaded rocket in the center and give it a vigorous "bounce" test.

My big concern was the how to accommodate different length motors since the inside coupler tube would block motor insertion. The solution ended up being simple; the glued inner tube stops 10" short of the aft end of the rocket, enough to accommodate a 9" G65, for the much shorter F44's I made a removable inner tube from an appropriate length of coupler material and a homemade centering ring to provide a lip for removal with a hook.
