I've been looking for an airsoft type 2S LiPo to use in a 38mm NC/coupler with an eggtimer Quasar. The Quasar manual references airsoft LiPo batteries which the smallest I've found with the capacity I'm wanting is this one: Turnigy nano-tech 1200mAh 2S 25~50C Lipo AIRSOFT Pack
I searched the forums and most of the LiPo discussion I found was about 300-500 mAh 2S LiPo batteries which have more of a 9v form factor (larger cross section than the airsoft type batteries). The Turnigy battery (which is now backordered) is 13 x 17 x 116 mm. Looking to see if anyone has a better option. Compact meaning smallest width and thickness possible. I can easily accommodate lengths in the 4-5" range, probably even 6" is doable.

That looks like a good choice. Long and thin should easily fit is an ebay.
It also has a high discharge rating which is need to fire ematch or igniter.

300mA-Hr is about minimum capacity recommended. 1200mA-Hr will run for 4 times longer so no worry if rocket sits on the pad for a while.

The smaller 300mA-Hr 2S LiPos have been harder to find. Not sure why.
